Mr Théodore Aimé MOUCHINGAM is an expert in participatory democracy and heads up advocacy at the organisation AfroLeadership. His career path illustrates steady progression, moving from Project Assistant to Project Manager, then to Programme Manager, whilst also serving as Communications Officer. He has led the design, coordination and monitoring of strategic projects funded by national and international partners. His expertise spans several areas of intervention, including local development, public finance, climate action, citizen participation and the monitoring and evaluation of development projects. He has contributed to the development of advocacy tools and innovative mechanisms that promote citizen participation in public policy. Thanks to his skills in institutional communication, he has raised the profile of AfroLeadership’s work and strengthened its relationships with partners, public institutions and civil society. His approach combines technical expertise, interpersonal skills, leadership, innovation and rigour in support of reforms that promote inclusive and sustainable governance among stakeholders.
