Context :
Funded under the European Union call for proposals ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CB-VET (Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training – VET), the GREASE project aims to structure and boost the green and social entrepreneurship ecosystem in rural Africa, with a particular focus on women.
Objectives:
To develop capacity-building programs, design tailored support tools, pilot these training pathways in the field, and raise community awareness regarding the importance of green social entrepreneurship for the economic empowerment of rural women.
Planned Activities:
The project is structured into four major Work Packages (WPs):
WP1: Project management, coordination, and quality assurance.
WP2: Development of the capacity-building program and support toolkits.
WP3: Piloting and testing phase of the capacity-building program.
WP4: Awareness-raising and promotion of green social entrepreneurship for women in rural areas.
Expected Results:
Creation of a pool of rural women entrepreneurs trained in green practices, production of reusable educational toolkits, and strengthening of the operational capacities of African partner organizations.
