Strengthening human rights is an ongoing endeavour that must be complemented by participatory democracy to prevent the misuse of representation and to actively harness the energy of citizens for good. To this end, AfroLeadership works to promote transparency, accountability and active citizen participation in order to improve good governance practices in Africa.
Democracy should be for everyone, not just the privileged few. With the power of technology, AfroLeadership puts democracy in the hands of citizens across Africa. We build the data infrastructure for public accountability and citizen monitoring by providing open data and tools to improve access to justice.
