Aysha Hosni Karaf

Aicha KARAFI HOSNI had a career of more than 30 years in the Ministry of Finance where she held positions of important responsibility; in fact, until September 2017, she held the post of director-general of the central office for organization, methods, IT, and regional coordination. In her capacity, Aicha Karafi has also administered several courses covering budget management, public finance, local finance, entrepreneurship, and leadership in prestigious public and private institutions. Ms. Karafi is also a consultant, trainer, PEFA Evaluator, very active facilitator especially in civil society, she is an expert for various organizations. Currently, she is Technical Adviser for Francophone Countries Global Initiative for Fiscal Transparency at GIFT and a short-term consultant as part of the decentralization support project funded by GIZ for the benefit of the Tunisian government. She has conducted capacity building cycles for the benefit of of some municipalities within the framework of a project financed by the OECD. She is president of an NGO “ATGL” local OGP project manager within the framework of the realization of the commitment n°11 of the 3rd PAN OGP. She has carried out several projects for the benefit of municipalities in the context of participatory democracy.
