Nur Mohamed ABDI

Nur Mohamed Abdi comes from Somalia and has a master’s degree in Agricultural Science. Nur is the Founder of Somali Youth of Agro-Marine Development Association (SOMYAMDA), a community organization. He seeks to mobilize the rural community especially the agricultural and coastal line community, and to train good farming, fishing and beekeeping technology to fight hunger and famine. He has implemented numerous training sessions in the rural and coastal line areas to educate and develop the skills of rural youth. In addition, SOMYAMDA raises awareness in CSA among young men and women aged between 18-35 to enable them to make sustainable projects for their future in their agriculture sector.
